My Yorkie, Susie, did this at my Mother s place - carrying on in front of her stove. After an hour "No!" , " Stop that! " & "There's nothing there!" , we finally pulled the stove out - lo and behold, there was a single dried out pea - which Susie grabbed up proudly! Tenacious, stubborn and a great sense of smell, obviously!!
